Operation Mom

Operation Mom is a national military family support group founded in 2001. We were formally recognized in 2003 as the winner of the Jefferson National Award for public service. Our primary mission is to provide a place where families of those serving our country can find support, encouragement, solace, and be with others who share their heart. An outreach of our support system is to provide ‘Little Touch of Home’ packages to our troops serving worldwide. We also ensure that our proud military service members and veterans will never return home to indifference, ungratefulness or be unsung. Operation Mom is neither political, religious, for, or against any war or conflict. We do fully support those who serve and recognize them as heroes for their faithfulness and courage. We honor our troops and love their families.

The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center

The Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service & Education Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting our nation’s honorably discharged Veterans. Our mission is to provide coordinated and comprehensive services to military Veterans, by eliminating barriers for successful transition and addressing needs for independent reintegration into their community. For over 30 years, we have accomplished our mission to Veterans by providing job training and placement, permanent and transitional housing services to homeless and low-income Veterans, legal counseling referrals, and a staff that hold a in-depth knowledge of the VA Medical system and VA disability claims and entitlements. All of these services contribute to the successful re-integration of the Veteran into society to help them live independently and to positively contribute to their community.
